Description
The Drennan Umbrella is available in 44in (110cm) and 50in (125cm) sizes, both with the same clever features and attention to detail.
This sturdy umbrella has an extra long, adjustable spike made from thick-gauge aluminium. Importantly, it is the standard 19mm external diameter of most fishing umbrella poles but with a greater internal wall thickness for extra rigidity and durability.
Both models have the same length adjustable pole, which is height extendable to approximately 2.3m. This ensures it can be pushed deep into the ground yet still allow plenty of height for you to sit under. Drennan have spent considerable time perfecting the three-position tilt mechanism so that the umbrella can be securely locked at different angles.
The umbrella outer is made from durable, PU coated, rot-proof, polyester with taped seams to keep out the elements.
The 44in model also features slightly lighter fabric to keep the overall weight down for anglers who prefer to travel light. At just 2.35kg this model is approximately 16% lighter than the 50in (2.8kg) design.
The fibreglass ribs are part of a clever shallow spoke canopy that has been designed to provide maximum head clearance. Securing rings allow you to peg one or more of the panels flush to the ground. There are also four ribs with a removable ‘stabiliser’ attachment. This has a standard 3/8in BSF thread that will accommodate a bankstick or storm pole for an even sturdier setup. Two ground pegs and a 3m adjustable umbrella cord are also supplied.
The entire package is finished off nicely with a drawstring bag made from the same PU coated material.

Delivery Times
Place your order before 1.00pm Monday to Friday and we will aim to dispatch your order the same day (Excluding Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays), otherwise we will aim to dispatch it the next working day. We currently use ParcelForce for all orders.
- ParcelForce: Orders are usually delivered the next working day after dispatch. Extra Large (eg.Bedchair) or Long items will be sent on a 48 hour service.
Non Mainland
Deliveries of standard parcels up to 24kg to addresses in these areas will be charged at the cost of £24.99. Parcels of 25kg and over or 1.4m long or 80cm or more on 2 sides will be quoted individually.

Returns
We are happy to cancel, exchange unsuitable or unwanted products, as long as they are returned to us in original condition and have not been used or altered in anyway, within seven working days of delivery. Under these circumstances the postal charges will not be refunded. If we have made an error with your order or have sent you the wrong item by mistake, we will resolve with the error as fast as possible and also refund any additional postal charges.
Any products that are returned for non-broken reasons (e.g. unwanted after cooling off period) may incur a restocking charge of up to 15%.
Faults
Most items sold by Melton Angling come with at least a 12 month manufacturer's warranty. If a product develops a fault within the warranty period, assistance will be provided by way of spares, repair or replacement depending on the type of product purchased. Wear and tear is not covered by any manufacturer's warranty.
Any item that was found faulty at the point of delivery may be returned for free repair, replacement or refund, provided you have the original receipt or alternative proof of purchase, and the faulty item is returned complete with all components and original packaging. All faults & defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Please note that you will not be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in respect of fair wear and tear.
When returning an item, please attach a note explaining details of any fault, along with your customer order number and your personal details inside the parcel. Please package your item(s) securely. All items returned by post are returned at your cost. You are advised to obtain a certificate of posting using a recorded service (available from all Post Offices at no charge) when returning items by post. If you post your item(s) back to us, we will endeavour to send you a replacement or refund your payment within 14 days, providing you have provided us with the necessary information inside the return parcel.
