Further Information

All the lakes are well stocked & provide excellent fishing. Most techniques work, and it is usually best to fish using your preferred method, but feeding regularly as the fish definitely respond well to the sound of bait hitting the water. Popular methods are maggot or pellet on the pole or waggler and casting Method feeders close to islands and margins. To pick out the larger carp, use boilies on the bottom or if the weather is good they cant resist a floater (feed heavy to build confidence though as they receive a lot of pressure from surface fishing).

Lakes 3,4,5,6 and 7 are very similar they way they fish with either Islands or far banks to cast to as well as fishing in open water. Carp to 15lb are possible in all of them with odd larger specimens in lake 3 due to it being one of the oldest lakes on site. You can also expect to catch Bream, Chub, Crucian Carp, Tench, Roach, Rudd and Specimen Perch.

Lake 2 is also known as "The Old Specimen Carp Lake". The lake has a good head of Carp, mostly around the 10lb mark and a good number from mid double to 20lb topped by a mirror known as Shoulders that can weigh 30lb at the right time of year. In addition, there are some good sized Bream and a decent head of Perch well over 2lb.

The Parkland Lake opened in 2016, this lake is the largest on site and the New Specimen Carp Lake. Designed to grow large Carp, only about 150 have been been stocked between 15-25lb and have already shown good signs of growth. More are planned to be stocked at some of these fish start being recorded over 30lb.
