Description

Nash Siren R4 Bite Alarm

The Siren R4 bite alarm is Nash's new standard for responsive, precise indication.

Nash have included many new and improved features within their Siren R4, with particular focus being paid to the level of control and function which enable the angler to be fully in tune with their end tackle.

Nash are confident that their Siren R4 bite alam will respond to all possible bite indications that you may experience whilst trying to catch your target carp.  This is due to improvements made to the R4's Intelligent Sensing.

The Nash Siren R4 bite alarm features the following settings:

The Roller Wheel Sensing senses for a stardard line movement across the roller - this enables a great response for example when a slow tightening of the line is experienced during winter zigging.

Speed Sensing allows two levels of reaction to a line moving quicker than 1cm and 2cm per second, thereby elminating false indications.  Both of these settings include the innovative Drift Sensing Safeguard feature.

Wave Sensing technology prevents false indications that come from repeated wave action.  The events are regsitered by movements which are quicker than 1cm or 2cm per second, and also note 15 or 30cm of line movement forwards/backwards over the roller.  The two Wave Sensing sensitivities also feature the Drift Sensing Safeguard.

The Drift Sensing Safeguard is there to protect against the chance of line "creeping" from a spool, for example due to weed build up.  In such a situation the movement and pressure on the line would not be great enought to trigger the Speed Sensing system.

Drop Back Sensing is present on all of the Siren R4's sensitivity settings.  It has a decreasing tone alarm so that you an differentiate the type of take.

Guiding Light is a rear LED lighy that provides a point of reference for navigation back to your swim when it is dark.

Night Glo is a range of indicators that connect to the casing of the Siren R4 alarm heads and give a pulsing LED output via the Night Glo Bobbin or Swing Arm head whenever the alarm LED lights up.  The indicator bodies match the LED colour options for a co-ordinated look.  There is also the choice of a black body with a white LED light should you prefer.
