After 5 years of development and complete design from the ground up, the dB7-R Alarm range has been created to ensure that they meet the highest standards of performance and reliability. Trakker's team has worked tirelessly to integrate advanced features and technology into these alarms, resulting in a product for anglers who demand the very best. They are much more than just an ‘off the shelf’ product with some branding on the outer case.
An industry-first feature is the PPS (Power-On Protection System), which prevents accidental power-ups and wasted battery life. This feature ensures that the alarms are always ready to use when you need them and that you never have to worry about running out of power at a critical moment.
The dB-Mag Roller has 8 precision magnets and a high-performance O-ring, providing true indication for all conditions. Trakker have incorporated ISM (Intelli-Sense Mode) into all sensitivity settings. This function eliminates false indications, allowing you to fish effectively in extremes. Combat crashing waves, high winds, and boat fishing scenarios without compromising vital indication information when it’s needed most. Built with a tough ABS weatherproofed case and battery compartment. The digital circuitry and internal component weatherproofing further ensure that these alarms will perform reliably in all conditions.
The SRT (Sync-connect Receiver Technology) built into these alarms is designed for long-range and obstacle-link signal optimisation. This advanced technology ensures that you always receive a strong and reliable signal, no matter the terrain or obstacles in your way. The alarms feature a Tru-tone cone speaker for loud frequency delivery as well as a dual-descent tone drop-back differential for enhanced audible indication. The dual super-bright multi-colour LEDs allow you to easily change from red, green, blue, yellow, purple, and white. Peek-view LED positioning further enhances the visual indication from side-on viewing positions. One-touch night light function, solid latching LED forward indication, flashing latching LED drop-back indication, dedicated indexed volume control wheel (8 volume settings including silent), indexed tone control wheel (8 tone settings), indexed sensitivity control wheel (8 sensitivity settings), power out socket (2.5mm) for use with illuminated indicators, and low battery warning. Rod-friendly rubber inlay grips, a rigid 3/8" stainless steel thread and a blackout locking nut.
They require a single PP3-9V battery, making them easy to use and maintain. The single 9V power source ensures longer life and better signal strength.

The db7-R Receiver is designed to pair seamlessly with our dB7-R Bite Alarms. This receiver has been engineered to meet the highest standards of performance, reliability, and most importantly, ease of use, making the dB7-R range the perfect no-nonsense companion for serious anglers. Trakker are confident that after using them for a session, you won’t have to refer to instruction manuals, rewatch setup videos, or learn complex button pressing sequences to use them.
Like the bite alarms, the receiver features a PPS (Power-On Protection System), which prevents accidental power up and wasted battery life. The built-in SRT (Sync-connect Receiver Technology) is designed for long-range and obstacle-link signal optimisation. This advanced technology ensures that you always receive a strong and reliable signal from your bite alarms.
Easily connect and update alarms, 4 per channel (16 total), and customise your setup to suit your individual preferences. Plus, the alarm tone and LED colour are automatically updated on the receiver when adjusted on the alarms, and the receiver has an inbuilt memory that allows you to swap batteries in the alarms and the receiver itself without having to reprogram them again.
The Tru-tone cone speaker ensures loud frequency delivery when required, and our D-Vibe vibration setting transmits a pulse per bleep in both audible and silent modes. The LER (Last Event Recall) function indicates the last event sent to the receiver, ensuring that you never miss an occurrence even if you’re a bit slow to wake up to an indication at night.
The indexed volume control wheel (8 volume settings, including silent) ensures that you can adjust the sound level to your preference; this feature is audible on the receiver.
A low battery warning ensures that you are always aware of your battery levels. The receiver will indicate via LED flashes which alarm is low on battery and if its own battery is running low.
The ergonomic self-standing case design makes it easy to use, and as the name suggests, it stands up on its own on your bivvy table, bucket lid, or any other flat surface you decide to put it on. You can also carry it wherever you go with the supplied lanyard.
The receiver is powered the same as the alarm and requires a single PP3 9V battery.

How we process your order
It may take up to 24 hours to process your mail order. Collection orders are usually available within the hour subject to opening times. You will receive a 'ready to collect' email to tell you your order is prepared and waiting.
If there is an issue with the products you have ordered we will contact you using the information you have provided.
Very rarely we will be out of stock of an item that has been indicated as in stock, we may subsequently put your order on hold. You will be contacted by email to inform you of this and will be advised of an approximate delivery date for this item. If agreeable with you, we will despatch the remainder of your order to you; the out of stock item(s) will then be despatched as soon as available. You will not be charged any additional delivery costs for the extra delivery.
Where applicable, we will remove any unnecessary packing to make your delivery more compact and save any additional postage cost that might have to be applied. If you would like to ensure you receive complete packaging, please contact us or add this to the notes when completing your purchase.
Deliveries will normally arrive Monday to Friday, excluding all bank holidays. The delivery timescales are only a guide. Unfortunately we cannot guarantee any delivery times but will always try and get your order to you as fast as possible.
Please note that standard courier deliveries are usually made between 8.00am and 5.30pm. All deliveries must be signed for at the shipping address only.
Missing or incorrect items must be reported within 3 days of receipt of goods.

Mainland UK Delivery
Orders to the value of £60.00 or more will be sent post free.
If items that were sent post free are returned as unwanted, our standard charge of £7.99 will be deducted from the value of your refund for the returned goods.
If items are returned to us as undelivered despite attempts to deliver and no collection made a charge of £7.99 will be applied before your refund.
Orders are sent using either Royal Mail 1st Class or UK Mail 24 Hour Parcel Services.
Our post is usually collected by 2.30pm each day. Orders received close to or after this time will be processed the next day.
Large items that are 1.4m or more in length or over 24kg will be shipped at the cost of £19.99 per parcel.
Scottish Highlands and Islands, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland, Isle of Man, Isle of Scilly
Deliveries of standard parcels up to 24kg to addresses in these areas will be charged at the cost of £19.99.
Parcels of 25kg and over or 1.4m long or 80cm or more on 2 sides will be quoted individually.
Returns
We are happy to cancel, exchange unsuitable or unwanted products, as long as they are returned to us in original condition and have not been used or altered in anyway, within seven working days of delivery. Under these circumstances the postal charges will not be refunded. If we have made an error with your order or have sent you the wrong item by mistake, we will resolve with the error as fast as possible and also refund any additional postal charges.
Any products that are returned for non-broken reasons (e.g. unwanted after cooling off period) may incur a restocking charge of up to 15%.
Faults
Most items sold by Melton Angling come with at least a 12 month manufacturer's warranty. If a product develops a fault within the warranty period, assistance will be provided by way of spares, repair or replacement depending on the type of product purchased. Wear and tear is not covered by any manufacturer's warranty.
Any item that was found faulty at the point of delivery may be returned for free repair, replacement or refund, provided you have the original receipt or alternative proof of purchase, and the faulty item is returned complete with all components and original packaging. All faults & defects must be reported within 48 hours of delivery. Please note that you will not be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund in respect of fair wear and tear.
When returning an item, please attach a note explaining details of any fault, along with your customer order number and your personal details inside the parcel. Please package your item(s) securely. All items returned by post are returned at your cost. You are advised to obtain a certificate of posting using a recorded service (available from all Post Offices at no charge) when returning items by post. If you post your item(s) back to us, we will endeavour to send you a replacement or refund your payment within 14 days, providing you have provided us with the necessary information inside the return parcel.
